Lavinia stamps Mid month sample.

Good afternoon.

Wow! We are half way through January , there is still time to participate in the Lavinia stamps January challenge. The theme this month is starry starry night.  The lucky winner picked at random will receive a £40 gift voucher to spend in the Lavinia stamps shop. I'm looking forward to seeing all your wonderful creations.

I have made a card to inspire your imagination,
For this card I used Alchol inks and yupo paper, two craft items I've never used before, I did enjoy working with these mediums.
For the background I used Denim ink on a felt pad and swiped from side to side.
For the rocky grassy area I used steam, citrus and a small amount of purple twilight alcohol ink squeezed on to a felt pad any dapped it over the bottom part of the card. It's fascinating to watch the reaction to the paper. I then stamped the  http://laviniastamps.com/product/fairy-lodgings/ and http://laviniastamps.com/product/vine-new/ images with black archival ink.  The star stamp http://laviniastamps.com/product/stars-1/ was stamped with a dew drop white ink pad. Also used this stamp for the card background.
